Review Message You can't really say too much about a perfect music album, but here goes. In case you haven't read my DVD review of Mohabbatein, let me tell you that it is my favourite movie of all time. I believe that if I could make the Perfect film, it would be Mohabbatein. And it wouldn't have been possible without the music. So lets talk about the soundtrack. The soundtrack of Mohabbatein gels perfectly with films storyline. Each song is different and yet has a common thread which makes it one, that being, love. Mohabbatein is about Love, Life, Respect, Values, Romance and family. There are 9 Songs on the Album which has the Music of Jatin-Lalit and Lyrics by Anand Bakshi. It start out with the song "Humko Humise Chura Lo" (my favourite on this album), this is a very romantic song and probably one of the best love songs every written. It is sung by Lata Mangeshkar & Udit Narayan. The next song is the heartfelt "Chalte Chalte" sung by six newcomers (Udhbhav, Manohar Shetty, Ishaan, Shweta Pandit, Sonali Bhatawdekar & Pritha Mazumdar). The third song is the classic "Pairon Mein Bandhan Hai", this song is going to be played at all the Indian Engagement parties, this song is also sung by the six newcomers. The next song is called "Aankhein Khuli" (My second favourite). This song is a western style dance song and will be loved by everyone and danced to at all the parties, it is sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Udit Narayan, the six newcomers and has Dialogues by Shahrukh Khan. The 5th song "Soni Soni" is a song that will be played in all the Disco's and Colleges and will be loved by the youth, it is very catchy, upbeat and Mischievous. It is sung by Udit Naryan, Jaspinder Narula and the six newcomers. Next we have the sad version of the song "Chalte Chalte" this is also sung by the six newcomers. The 7th song is called "Zinda Rehti Hain Mohabbatein", this song is a very valuable song to the storyline of the film, it has the voices of Udit Narayan and Lata Mangeshkar. The last two songs on the album are instrumental one is called "Mohabbatein Love Themes" which is the Theme of Mohabbatein. And the other is called "Rhythms of Mohabbatein" which is used at another crucial point in the film. Both are amazing instrumental classics. Mohabbatein is my favourite music album and I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I do. So don't hesitate and just buy it. Your family will love you for it.
